Sports Solutions GB has appointed Macey Consulting to design and build two financial model templates. The models, for a leisure centre and a sports club, will utilise best practice modelling techniques to produce templates which are appropriate to the development of sustainable community sports facilities. Macey Consulting has been selected to provide an article for the April issue of the ACCA's Accounting and Business magazine on spreadsheet risk. The article looks into the need for healthy scepticism regarding spreadsheets especially in the current climate. A second article will appear in the May issue addressing the issues and recommendations offered for effective controls.
Featured work
Globe Business Publishing Ltd and its associated company Globe White Page Ltd specialise in providing information for the global legal community. Macey Consulting originally undertook the scope, specification, design and build of a management reporting model to assist senior management in crucial decision making for the business. We were further appointed to continue the management reporting models to department level. The raw data is manipulated through pivot tables into final reporting templates for distribution to managers.

Fundraising Training Ltd
Macey Consulting worked with the consultancy arm of Fundraising Training Ltd to review and improve their data analysis model of donors. The model enhancements had the benefit of producing clearer, accurate information whilst automating time consuming routines enabling swifter analysis of donors for charitable organisations.
"David managed to transform one of our key services, a donor analysis tool, into a simple to use and powerful asset to our business. We now have a platform to grow our clients at a dramatically faster rate. This was impossible before meeting David. We had been aiming to make this transition for years and hadn't found someone who understood the technology and the service. Macey Consulting worked with Bromley Mytime to review and remodel a comprehensive forecasting model to support its corporate planning activities. In parallel, a model to support a business case for a new product was also developed.
